Privacy Policy

• Account. Your display name and, if you sign in with our authentication provider, your email address. If you use the built-in login, a name and a securely hashed password. Optionally a profile color or picture you choose.
• What you make and do. The apps you create or remix (their code, titles, and descriptions), the per-app data an app saves for you, and your activity such as plays, likes, stars, follows, feed preferences, and any reports you file.
• Payments. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We store your plan and a Stripe customer reference — never your full card number.
• AI usage. The text and images you send to AI features (when you create or remix an app, or use AI inside an app), plus counts of how much AI you use.
• Technical. A session cookie to keep you signed in. For signed-out visitors we store a one-way hash of your IP address to enforce daily view limits — we do not keep the raw IP.

To run and improve Sprout: to sign you in, show and rank your feed, save your apps and progress, process payments and enforce plan limits, keep the service secure, and moderate content that breaks our rules. We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

When you use an AI feature, the prompt (and any image you provide) is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate your result. Please don’t submit sensitive personal information to AI features. Apps can only use AI after you explicitly allow it, and you can revoke that at any time from the app.

Apps you publish, along with your display name and profile picture, are visible to others by design — that’s the point of sharing. Apps you keep private or unlisted are not shown in public feeds. The data an app saves for you is private to you.

We rely on a small set of providers to operate Sprout: an authentication provider (sign-in), a cloud database and file-storage provider (to store your account, apps, and images), Stripe (payments), and a third-party AI provider (to power AI features). They process data only to provide their service to us.

You can edit or delete your apps at any time. Deleting an app removes its saved data. If you want to access or delete your account and its associated data, contact us at the address below and we’ll take care of it.

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, and every app runs in an isolated sandbox that can’t reach your account. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Sprout isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we’ll remove it.

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Continued use of Sprout means you accept the current version.
